Finally a sunshine day with high 30 degree weather. It has been a particularly long snowy winter in Missoula. The snow hit early last fall and has never melted. The Missoula area has had a longer than usual winter with snow on the ground.
I don't tend to ride bike trails a lot. I am a big fan of mountain biking and true singletrack trails. However in Western Montana spring the mountain trails are not rideable.
I have another issue with the bicycle/pedestrian trail that goes from Missoula to Hamilton. It is close enough to the highway that it is very very loud. Noise cancelling headphones to the rescue.

If you look close or magnify the picture you can see a fisherman on the Bitteroot river just under the right grip on my bike. He is also in the lower left of the next picture.
I am riding my Montague folding mountain bike. I made just a few modifications to fit it to my riding position. I put a shorter taller stem and added bar ends. I also replaced the plastic folding pedals. I added a wider women's seat, I have wide sit bones. I may have found some carbon wheels to lighten the bike a bit also.
